What we do

Four disciplines, one team. Most projects use more than one of them.

Web

Marketing sites and web platforms that load fast on Kenyan networks and stay easy to update after launch.

Apps

Android and iOS apps built offline-first, so field teams keep working when the signal drops.

Design

Logos, brand systems and product interfaces, documented well enough that they scale past the first launch.

Systems

Internal platforms for schools, insurers and operations teams who have outgrown spreadsheets.

Selected work

Built for specific problems

We do not push clients into a system we already own. Each of these was shaped around how the organisation actually operates.

Mobile App

InfoRange

Pastoralists in Marsabit and Namibia manage livestock where there is no reliable connection, and the existing tools all assumed one. Compwiz built an offline-first mapping and veterinary reporting app, co-designed with herders, using audio guidance in local dialects and background syncing that catches up whenever signal returns.

It cut the map payload from 300MB to 6MB, sped up disease response, and now underpins published rangeland research.

Design & Branding

Africa Vacations Safaris

A full identity for a Nairobi tour operator: logo, collateral and the reasoning behind every decision, handed over as documentation the team could keep building on rather than a folder of final files.
